AI Animation Generator: Animate a Character Image

Animate a drawing, paper figure or 3D character with one image and an editable motion prompt. Choose a model, check credits and follow your saved video task.

Start with a finished character image and give it one small action. This template requests a six-second silent greeting by default. It animates the supplied design; it does not create a rig, a transparent sprite or an entire film.

Read the English motion prompt

Animate the single finished original character from @Image1. Preserve its face, silhouette, colors, outfit and existing visual medium, whether drawn, paper-built or rendered. @Image1 is an identity and appearance reference, not a fixed first or last frame. Keep a simple stable setting and a stationary medium-wide camera with space around every moving limb. The character notices the camera, makes a small head turn, gives one brief gentle greeting with an existing hand or suitable limb, then settles into a clear final pose. If its design has no suitable limb, use a small head tilt instead of inventing arms. Keep a single continuous shot. Do not add characters, extra limbs, a new drawing style, camera cuts, speech, text, logos or audio. Do not imitate a named animation studio or copyrighted character.

Extra direction and the sound preference are added at submission. Model guidance does not guarantee frame-by-frame matching.

AI Animation Generator: Animate a Character Image · Prepare the inputs

Use one clear JPG, PNG or WebP image, up to 10 MB. Keep the character’s face and limbs visible with room for movement. A drawing or prepared 3D character gives the model its style. A portrait is not automatically converted into a cartoon. Your image supplies identity and appearance, not a motion video or a guaranteed first frame.

Character greeting

One character image; a small head turn, a short wave and a settled ending. Preserve the supplied visual style.

How to make the video

Upload the character, then choose MiniMax H3 or Seedance 2.5 and a supported quality. The default is six seconds, landscape and no audio; review the available duration and frame settings before requesting a quote. Edit the direction to specify one gesture, camera distance and an ending. Check the server quote, submit once and keep the task number.

Review the result

Watch the whole clip. Compare the face, outline, colors and material with your image. Look for extra fingers, a moving background, a gesture that never finishes or a sudden style change. For a cleaner next attempt, reduce the request to one action and leave more space around the character. Another attempt is a new paid task.

If generation cannot start, check sign-in, the uploaded image, model settings and the quote. If a submission seems uncertain, query the saved task or open My Creations before submitting again. Failed tasks use the existing credit refund flow; reloading a saved task does not create another generation.

Common questions

What image should I upload?

Use a character you can use: a drawing, original mascot, paper figure or rendered 3D character. Show its face and intended moving limbs. This page does not draw a missing character for you.

Can I control every frame or add speech?

You can describe motion and framing, but this workflow does not expose a skeleton, keyframes or precise lip-sync. This preset is silent and accepts no audio reference. Exact movement and style preservation are not guaranteed.

How are credits charged, and was this preset tested?

The model, quality, duration and image count determine the server quote. Check it before submission. The page preview is an existing animation scene, not an acceptance test of this greeting preset. No paid output test has been run for this preset.

The generated motion, likeness and soundtrack need to be reviewed before downloading.
