AI Dolly Zoom Video Generator

Keep the subject steady. Change the perspective.

Start with a portrait, a product, or a subject in a room. This photo-to-video workflow requests a backward camera move with an opposing lens zoom, so the background changes around a relatively steady subject.

Camera-movement previews show how framing can change. The editable prompt requests a steadier subject and an opposing zoom. These previews are not results generated by the current Seedance 2.5 model or from your photo.

Create a dolly zoom video

Make a dolly zoom from your photo

One photo supplies the first frame, subject, outfit and setting. The preview videos are not sent to the model. Keep the prompt focused on camera movement.

Add one first-frame photo

Use a clear subject with visible background depth. JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB.

How to create an AI dolly zoom video

  1. Choose a photo with depth

Place one subject near the middle. A corridor, street or layered interior gives the camera movement more visual context than a flat wall. Leave space around the face and shoulders.

  2. Describe one camera move

The starting prompt moves the camera backward while zooming inward. Keep the subject still and avoid asking for a walk, a spin and a scene change in the same shot. You can edit the prompt before submitting.

  3. Check the cost and follow the task

Review the credit quote, submit once, and keep the task number. Follow the queue and generation status here or in My Creations. When the video finishes, inspect it before downloading.

What makes a dolly zoom different from a normal zoom?

A normal zoom changes how large the whole scene appears. A dolly zoom combines camera travel with an opposing focal-length change: the subject stays approximately the same size while the background perspective shifts. An AI model interprets this instruction rather than operating a calibrated physical lens, so inspect the result instead of assuming a precise optical match.

Which first-frame photo works for this workflow?

Choose a sharp face or product with an uncluttered outline. Keep nearby objects away from the subject edge and leave visible space behind it. The photo is a scene starting point, not a separate identity reference or a request to replace someone in the previews.

Use perspective to add tension or reveal a setting

Try a quiet portrait reaction, a product in a layered room, or a still subject in an architectural corridor. The six-second preset leaves time for a steady opening, one gradual camera move and a final hold. It is a useful starting point for a short shot; output details depend on your photo and prompt.

Review subject stability, lines and framing

Compare the face or object at the start and end. Watch for changing proportions, bent walls, clothing flicker or a simple whole-image zoom. If the subject drifts, simplify the prompt or choose a photo with clearer depth. A new attempt is a separate paid generation; status refresh is only a query.

Dolly zoom questions

What do I need to upload?

Upload one JPG, PNG or WebP photo, up to 10 MB. It supplies the first frame, subject and background. You do not upload a reference video or a separate identity photo.

Is this a physical camera dolly zoom?

No. The generator asks an AI video model to interpret a dolly move and an opposing zoom. It does not calculate a calibrated lens path, and subject stability or perspective may need another attempt.

Are the previews used as motion references?

No. They illustrate camera framing only. Your generation uses your first-frame photo and the editable camera prompt; the preview clips are not included in the request.

How long is the video and what shape does it use?

This template requests 6 seconds at 720p with adaptive aspect ratio based on your photo. The provider may return a slightly different encoded duration. It does not request generated audio.

How are credits charged and refunded?

The displayed quote uses the existing Seedance 2.5 pricing rule for 6 seconds and one first-frame image. Credits are reserved when the task is created. Provider-confirmed failures return the reservation; a completed video retains the charge.

Can I refresh or leave the page while it is generating?

Yes. The task number is saved in this browser for your signed-in account and restored on refresh. My Creations also lists the server-side record. Refreshing checks its status and does not submit another paid generation.
